//why "internal symbiosis engine?" what is this website?
(ha ha ha... secret page ! ! ! !) here, an explanation of what INTERNAL SYMBIOSIS ENGINE even means ! what is this website ! what is going On !
--like i said in /warren this is my personal website. a collection of all things me, where i can express myself in any way i want to. i want to focus on EXPERIMENTATION and LEARNING NEW THINGS. but i thought i would explain the site's theme & aesthetic (even if it is mostly superficial. . . "Looking Cool" is usually my first thought, explanation second.) where do i start...i came up with the domain name "internalengine.(...).org" based off my finsta username. i needed to change the username away from being themed around my deadname (!) and at the time, i just began researching different types of INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES and landed on "internalengine".

//okay... why engines?
-- internal combustion engines and similar industrial machinerey are practically the mascots of the site. you'll notice the impact font title is made up of different engineering photobashed together, with some stills from TETSUO added in as well. TETSUO THE IRON MAN, a movie about a crazed "metal fetishist" who "infects" a japanese salaryman with his uh, metal fetish, and they rampage ahead in homo (okay, also some hereto-)erotic punk horror, is also a huge contributing inspiration for this site. look at the background! every single shot in this movie is the craziest shit ive ever seen. i got a t-shirt of this guy, i want to get a water bottle of this guy. YOUR FUTURE IS METAL !

i recently purchased some japanese magazines about ENGINES and MOTORS! not to "thing japan" myself, i really did try and look for some american & britsh motor/engine magazines, but alot of mags are focused more on CARS than CAR GUTS- which im not interested in. i'll still keep an eye out, and im semi-interested in some war-time invention and science magazines, things like scientific american, LIFE, and modern mechanix. (some of these magazines still print today, but im really only interested in content from the 30s-50s, what i consider generally "war-time") im currently compliling a list of movies with engineering/machinery i think is cool, and a lot of my art projects and oc characters are themed around the sort of industrial dieselpunk/steampunk aesthetic. i find it all very cool,, very tactile... alot of autistic people love machinery, but usually like, trains and planes and shit. i havent seen any people so far only interested in motors, but seeing as their is an entire japanese magazine focused on engines& motors, i suspect there is an entire community of engine-otaku. i mean, lets be for real.. the only people buying this type of magazine are autistic nerds, right? (light-hearted)

i guess to me, engines (especially modern diesel engines) are just the most distilled and pure form of machinery. every part has a function, it's a microcosm of our own organs and systems. it's like a man-made version of our intestines, lungs, hearts, veins. i also generally love anatomy, horror movies where it gets all sloppy and gross and intestine-y are always my fave... ha ha... if your not digging around in someones guts looking for a key (like in saw 1) then what are we doing! thats what horror should be!!! but other than that, i dont know why i like all this bullshit so much. autism, similarities to human anatomy, the mechanical and mathematic way it functions, all seem like fine explanations but honestly its alot purer, simpler than that. i think it just looks fucking awesome. i try to be interested in electrical motors- the objectively more efficient, environmentally-friendly, overall better form of converting energy for automobiles, but when i look at motors i think. aw man, thats lame. even steam engines, again, very interesting, just don't look that appealing to me. it's all an aesthetic thing. if i'm being honest, i find it a little difficult to digest the complicated information on how the thing actually functions. i just spend my time reading up on different brands and manufacturers of IC engines, the differences between diesel and petrol, about different amounts of pistons etc... but im mainly interested in the aesthetic differences. to put it buntly, the reason i like compression ignition diesel engines rather than spark ignition petrol engines is cus the diesel shit looks better! if any engineering nerds are more interested in the technical side of things rather than the simple aesthetic side of things, feel free to email me so you can yap about whatever. i love learning and talking to people. but if your wondering why i never put stuff like "horsepower" and "miles per hour" into my consideration of what-is-the-most-awesome engine, it's because i dont care! i dont own a car, i dont want to own a car and if i did have to own a car it would probably be some boring electric bullshit.
